A magical place, I absolutely fell in love with the northern towns of the Cinque Terre. I stayed in Manarola, and hiked the trails and mountains of Riomaggiore-Manarola-Corniglia-Vernazza-Monterrosa. Everything about this place was great. No coach parties or cruise ships, local and uninterrupted small town feel, affordable yet delicious meals (Pesto and Foccacia originate from this region), fine wine, and fun times with Tim and Amy (Australia), Dan (Montreal), Helene, David, and Florence (Paris). You can count on me being back in the near future.
