This was my third trip to Maui and it was nice to be in familiar territory. I met a really nice couple from Winnipeg – Tom and Kelly – on the plane ride from Los Angeles to Kahalui and enjoyed their company. The highlights of this trip were the north-west drive from Lahaina to Wailuku, and the Road to Hana and finding the ‘hidden waterfalls’ after a difficult hike through mud and traversing a foot-wide aqueduct across a small ravine.
