Thompson, Canada

My friends Heather and Lauren had long spoke about their hometown roots of Thompson, Manitoba.  Having left UMSU and getting back from my summer studies in Quebec, I was happy that Heather invited us up to northern Manitoba.  This was the furthest north I’ve ever traveled in my home province.  It was very tranquil and the ride down the mine shaft, in utter darkness, was a highlight of my trip.
