Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany

The 1936 Winter Olympic Games were held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Eddsel and I made a day trip up to this Bavarian mountain resort.  We found it very picturesque and quiet compared to the heavy tourism of Munich.
