Çeşme, Turkey

My last stop in Turkey, the peaceful port town of Çeşme was a nice place to take it easy before embarking on my Maramara Lines ferry to Brindisi, Italy.  When I went shopping for backgammon set for my friends Johan and Amber, I met a nice shopkeeper who sold me a set and invited me to help him in his shop for the afternoon.

Later, when I boarded my ferry, I met Suzana, a PhD student in Spanish literature from Madrid.  Hanging out on the ferry made the trip fun on my way back to familiar Italy.
