Going to my friend John’s hometown of Calgary, I got a local point of view of this city. We met up with some of his friends whom he grew up with, and hung out with his lovely mother, who was very kind to me. We did some hiking in the Rockies (boy was I out of shape), and some swimming in the Elbow River. We were fortunate to have great weather.
