For the past couple of days, I was at Oxford to present my paper at the British Association of Canadian Studies. I met up with some friends from Laval and Queens, and it was a great experience to be at that conference. Highlight: listening to a talk by Supreme Court Justice Rosie Abella. Having coincidentally run into her and her husband Dr. Irving Abella and helping them find their residence, it was inspiring to hear such a learned and well read speaker. I am in London with my friend Ajay, and sadly will be departing back to Canada. It’s taken a while for me to warm up to London, but now that I’ve been back a couple of times, I really enjoy returning every year. I’ll be back in June, en route to Barcelona to celebrate my birthday – great times ahead!
