Chicago, United States

The last time I was in Chicago was for a grade 10 trip in 1994.  It was great to return to the Windy City to meet up with my good friend Chris in order to attend the first two U2 shows of the their North American tour.  After taking up Soldier Field for three nights for the concerts, we were able to enjoy the city beyond the Museum Campus.  Although we detested the security, I loved the cultural centers Chicago offered.  Some highlights were going up the John Hancock Building for drinks on the 95th floor overlooking Lake Michigan, visiting Grant Park, perusing The University of Chicago and its Oriental Institute’s exhibit of The Middle East, walking along Michigan Avenue, and viewing South Side.
