Jorge and I were in London for a short period of time; primarily there for the Coldplay concerts on June 1, 2, and 4. But we had a free day on June 3 and a free morning on June 5 to be able to wander London. We have independently visited London before, so there was no real need to check out the major sites. I was happy to return to my favourite Indian restaurant – Diwanna – just off the Euston station, which has an amazing vegetarian buffet for seven quid. It was nice to meander around Camden with Cathal and later meet up with Katarina (another U2 buddy from the last tour) for a few pints. It was Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, and we took in a few pints of lager and cider at the Barfly in honour of the occasion.
