Vatican City, Holy See

The Vatican is one of my most favorite places on earth.  For my second visit, I was able to go on the roof of the Dome and visit below in the catacombs where Popes, including St. Peter are buried.  Most touching was praying at Pope John Paul II’s grave, especially considering he had only passed away three months earlier.
