With Vik (and security) insistent on running the U2 queue on his own, our group of U2 friends decided on making an afternoon trip to Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick. Ray from Montreal had highly recommended it, and others had heard good things about this provincial park. Brad B’s business savvy allowed us to enter at a group rate, and we were able to witness the lowering of the tide while being able to reach uncovered beaches. The rock formations reminded me of those found at Cappadocia, Turkey, but smaller. Both formed out of erosion, giving them their unique look. It was a beautiful day out, and a pleasant way to rest before the big concert.
