Taking a day trip from Varkala with some fellow travelers I met from my hostel, Kanyakumari is geographically the southern most tip of India. It took a few hours of a taxi drive to get there, making it a very long day on the road. The oceans were beautiful but it was tough to continuously face hassle from the touts. Nevertheless, Kanyakumari was very walkable with some stunning views.
