This was my 9th visit to London. It’s a very familiar city to me and a usual gateway to the rest of Europe when I come to this side of the world. Like two previous times, I was in Europe to see U2. On the off-days, I was able to enjoy new experiences/sites: National Maritime Museum (where you can see the history of Horatio Nelson and his naval conquests), the Royal Observatory, Greenwich (where the Meridan Line exists, i.e. Greenwich Mean Time), walking along the Thames, seeing Liverpool beat Chelsea 3-1 at the Roxy Bar and Screen along with the LFC London Supporters Club, and attending a Beach House concert at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire. I was also able to do some usual favourite activities like eating at the Diwana Restaurant, shop at the Superdry Store on Oxford Street, walk around Covent Garden, go to the British Museum, and meander around Westminster.
