After these things Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise showed he himself (John 21:1).
After Bethlehem, we had to go back to Jerusalem to catch an Egged public bus to Tiberias. This was going to be our main hub from where we would explore the Galilee region of Israel. The city was quite different to Jerusalem and Bethlehem – quiet, more spacious, warm, and by the Sea of Galilee. We stayed in David’s Hostel, which was a serene guest hose where the owner (David) was incredibly welcoming. He offered us coffee cakes and fresh fruit from his garden (pomelos, oranges, and grapefruit) every morning. David also gave us helpful tips of where to visit in the area.
