Very different from Honolulu, Maui was an escape from the throngs of tourists. Renting a Dodge Caliber, my friend Chris and I drove around Hawaii’s second largest island. Beaching, cliff diving, snorkling, helicopter touring, hiking, and driving the Road to Hana were some of the activities we pursued while on Maui. The Banana Bungalo Hostel was a nice hidden accomodation where meeting people was easy. Pieter from Switzerland quickly became one of our friends. Best of luck on all your travels!
