Immediately after visiting Saida, Dragana, Vlad, and myself continued on to Tyre – an ancient Phoenician coastal city. Along the highway, it was rather striking to see UN convoys, and posters attached to lightpoles of ‘martyred’ Hezbollah soldiers. Like all days in Lebanon, it was hot and humid – reaching hot and humid temperatures as high as +34 degrees Celsius. Sadly, right beside one of the great Phoenician ruins sat a Palestinian refugee camp.
