Shush, Iran

A day trip out of Ahwaz was made to make it to Shush, Iran.  One of the main sites I wanted to visit while in Iran was the tomb of the ancient biblical prophet, Daniel.  Seeing biblical sites has been a common occurrence over the course of my travels over the years.  The site was incredibly beautiful and small.  While in Shush, my hosts also took me to the ruins of King Darius’ palace.  When I was in the Louvre late May, I was able to see many of the artifacts from that palace.  As such, I was able to appreciate the ruins a little more when I saw it with my own eyes.
